Jamie has been in the orthodontic field for 15 years. One year ago, she made the transition from an assistant to the financials, insurance, and scheduling part of the practice. What she enjoys most about the world of Orthodontics is that every patient's case is different, there is never a dull moment, and there are so many techniques to improve one's overall smile and bite. Jamie says,"I'm a family girl, I was very lucky to be a part of raising my twin 15-year-old nieces,. I have a love for crafting and gardening, these are therapeutic skills that I incorporate into all areas of my life. I enjoy road trips (short or long) – I'm still exploring Washington. Some of my favorite locations are Snoqualmie Falls, Deception Pass and Friday Harbor.
Barb has been in the orthodontic field for the past 43 years, and has worked for Dr. Surbeck for the past 16 years. She delights in getting to know the patients, making them feel comfortable and seeing the results of their beautiful smiles. Barb and her husband have lived in Bellevue for the past 41 years, where they raised their son, who is now married and has given her two wonderful grandchildren. In Barb's spare time, she enjoys gardening, walking, traveling, being with friends, attending her ladies' bible study and facetime with her grandchildren who live in Pennsylvania.
Debbie is our treatment coordinator. She has been in the orthodontic field since 1979. What she enjoys most about orthodontics is: "The opportunity we have to develop great relationships with our patients and their families. Being part of making beautiful smiles is so rewarding. After having a house full of soccer players, my husband Rick and I are now sharing the house with our dog, Wozzie and cats, Yoda and Nona. I love to play with my 5 grandkids, read, crochet, and travel."
